Measurement guide

Accurate measurements are essential to ensure the best fit and comfort for your custom piece. Please take all measurements carefully and, if possible, have someone assist you. Measurements should be taken snug but not tight, and always over light clothing unless otherwise specified.

If you’re unsure about any measurement, feel free to ask—I’d much rather help than guess!

General Tips

● Use a flexible measuring tape
● Measure in inches (or specify if using cm)
● Stand naturally—don’t flex or suck in

Reference Sheet guide

A clear reference sheet helps ensure your character is brought to life as accurately as possible. The more detailed and organized your references are, the smoother the process will be and the better the final result.

Don’t worry if your reference isn’t perfect—this guide is here to help you understand what works best!

What Makes a Good Reference Sheet
Your reference sheet should clearly show your character’s design, colors, and key features. Ideally, it should include:

Full-body view (front view is required)
Back view (optional but very helpful)
Side view (optional)
Close-ups of important details (eyes, markings, horns, ears, nose, etc.)
Clear color palette (flat colors preferred)

Color Guidelines

● Use solid, flat colors when possible
● Avoid heavy shading, filters, or dramatic lighting
● If using gradients or patterns, include a close-up
● Clearly label unusual or custom colors

If your character has glow effects, metallic accents, or special textures, please note them clearly.

Design Details to Include

● Eye shape and expression style
● Ear shape, size, and placement
● Horns, antlers, wings, or special features
● Markings, stripes, spots, or scars
● Accessories (collars, piercings, jewelry, etc.)

If a detail is important to you, make sure it’s visible or written down!

Text Notes Are Welcome
Written descriptions are extremely helpful, especially for:

● Personality or expression preferences
● How “toony” or “realistic” you want the character
● Features that aren’t obvious in the art
● Things you don’t want included

Bullet points or short notes are perfectly fine.

Accepted Reference Types
You may submit:

● Commissioned reference sheets
● Personal character art
● Sketches (as long as details are clear)
● Mood boards with written explanations

⚠️ Please note: I do not accept copyrighted characters unless you have permission or the design is heavily altered.

No Reference Sheet?
That’s okay! I can help design or clean up your character for an additional fee. Just let me know if you’d like help creating a proper reference before we begin.

Important Notes

● I work directly from the references provided
● Major design changes after work has begun may require extra fees
● Clear references = smoother process + better results

If you’re ever unsure whether your reference works, feel free to ask before submitting. I’m always happy to help you get your character ready!
